A
peersuader is a saved youth witnessing Christ to someone with
the same rank and ability by strong urging.
MISSION:
Peer-Suader is the evangelistic component of the International
Youth Department, equipping youth with effective tools to
win their peers through the art of persuasion. This will enable
them to become a powerful access to the kingdom of God strengthening
families, schools, churches, and our communities.
OBJECTIVES:
• To teach youth how to walk in the authority of God
and be led by the Holy Ghost.
• To receive instructions and training in the biblical
steps to salvation.
• To learn various approaches in the art of persuasion
such as (God’s provision, personal testimony, Christ’s
testimony & benefits and the consequences of sin).
• To learn how to use the appropriate terminology.
• To witness with clarity.
• To learn the SEED approach (search-encounter-evaluate-decide).
• To learn how to handle negative responses.
• To grasp the complete concept of witnessing.
TARGET AREA:
Youth will be challenged with emphasis being placed on the
importance of knowing:
¨ God’s Word in its entirety is essential.
¨ By memorization of converting scriptures.
¨ By encouraging intense study of various passages.
¨ The importance of your life being your first witness.
