Greetings to you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.
It is with great
honor that we welcome you to the official website of the
International Youth Department of the churches of God in Christ.
We would like to
express our warmest appreciation for you taking the time to
visit our “Home on the Web.” This website has been designed
with you in mind, so that your IYD experience would be an
enjoyable one. We pray that this experience would be
Informative, Inspirational, and Life Changing.
This is the year
of “New Beginnings and Fresh Starts,” let us prepare ourselves
for the new direction in which the Lord is leading us. We would
like to Thank God for our International Presiding Bishop, Bishop
Charles Blake and his vision to take the church into the future
and for allowing us to serve the greatest department of the
church, the International Youth Department, to the General Board
and Mother Willie Mae Rivers for their continual support of the
International Youth Department.
To the greatest
team ever, our International Chairlady, Evangelist Joyce
Rodgers, Vice Presidents Willard Payton, Roderick Hennings, and
Kevin Knight, the Departmental Officials, all of the
Jurisdictional Presidents and Chairladies, and our wonderful
Youth Advisory Council Board we thank you for all of your
prayers and support to help brings us into this new year. You
all are simply the greatest!!!
As we approach
AIM 2008 in the beautiful city of Detroit, Michigan we are
asking that each of you register early and make the necessary
plans to be in attendance. We are expecting a”Mighty out pour
of the Spirit of the Lord!” Please come with a spirit of
expectancy.
