Joel McDonald
Parliamentarian

Many are called but few are chosen.  Joel McDonald was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 15, 1988 to the parents of Elder Shamir and Taunya McDonald. As a young boy you could tell the anointing was on his life. The Lord used him to speak life into situations, prophecy, and perform miracles at such a young age. At age 7 in the middle of an anointed service the Lord spoke to his spirit and told him to touch a lady’s stomach. Many didn’t know why, but later was told that she was barren of children for many years and since that night she has had a beautiful girl. Anyone that knows him knows that he has an adamant approach to the word of God. It’s more than just words with this young man as his life constantly resembles what is required. In 2001 his family moved to Charlottesville, VA where they now attend Christ Tabernacle COGIC under the leadership of Supt. Clyde Brown. Joel is confident under this great man of God as he boasts of his ability to rightly divide the word of God. Joel has taken a new step in his life as he now attends Virginia State University and is heading into his sophomore year. In a church full of young people and a dad who is the state YPWW for the Greater West Virginia Jurisdiction, Joel stays around a lot of young people. Charismatic, intelligent, funny, saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled and subservient to the will of God, a person who believes in holiness and has been told many times by young people that he acts old.  Having been prophesied to several times about what God has in store for him it is definitely being manifested.  Joel encourages those around him to realize that when you do the natural, God will do the super… The result supernatural.

Delia Pruitte

Co-Chaplin

My name is Delia Pruitte, and I was born on October 10, 1988 to Elder Eddie B Pruitte Jr. and Missionary Viviana Valdez Pruitte. I have three sisters, Daelena, DeAnna, and Deloris. I’ve been in C.O.G.I.C. since I was born, and as a pastor’s kid growing up, I got “saved” several times. When I was 13, however, God convicted me, and told me He had a plan for my life. I received true salvation that night, and less than a year later, I was filled with the Holy Ghost, and I’ve been running since then. These days, when I’m not participating in something at my church or working, I’m in school, pursuing my degree in journalism and creative writing. I love to laugh and have fun while doing God’s work, I love to pray, and I’m very active in my church, serving as the Church Organist, Former President of my local Youth Department, and many other things. I never know what God is planning for me next, but I’m praying He’ll use me as He sees fit. God loves you, and I do too!!
